The best DADGAD guitar on the market?

The N.K. Forster Model C

Each guitar is named after the body shape (Model C, Model S) and then the type of soundboard used to create each guitars unique individual voice – SS, HO, SK or SK adv. So a Model C with a Sobell style soundboard would be a C-SS, a Model C with a Howe Orme inspired soundboard is a C-HO.

The Model C is a little larger in size than a traditional Martin OM or OOO,  for more bass but with a tighter waist for a crisper sound.

A Model C with a “standard soundboard” based on the old Sobell design. Built for high performance.

A Model C with a Howe Orme inspired cylinder top. Super responsive and loud. Great for dropped tunings.

A Model C with a flatter soundboard for more bottom end, made to the same high spec as the C-SS and the C-HO but with a khaya mahogany body. This C-SKAdv has a torrefied sitka spruce soundboard.

Aged Indian rosewood or maple back and sides, European spruce, torrefied sitka or Western red cedar soundboard, Cuban mahogany or maple neck with Sri Lanka ebony, Rocklite or bog oak  fretboard and ebonised fruitwood or Rocklite bridge. Many upgrades available – wenge, figured bubinga, figured sapele, birds eye maple, flame maple.
